我有很多理由学中文，不只是一个理由。我喜欢学东西，喜欢挑战自己。
差不多五年之前我决定学一个语言，但我不知道应该学那种语言。 我先选择了法语，不过我很快发现学法语在多伦多很难。因为在多伦多没有人讲法语，在Quebec之外
不用讲法语。 而且感觉法语挑战性不够。然后我选择了日语，不过在多伦多很少能够跟日本人练习日语，这也是法语的问题。
一天我发现我应该学中文。 中文很有挑战性也很有用。而在多伦多有很多华人，和其他会说中文的人。 还有我好久好奇中文还有中国文化。
我开始的时候学不好，其实就一天之后我放弃了。 它看起来像很难，感觉不可能。每个东西都很奇怪。汉字，拼音，声音和英文什么都不一样的。那天我感觉学这样的语言只有专家，不是我。
一年之后的一天在健身房我看到一个老外跟我的同事讲中文。 看到的时候我问自己“为什么他会学中文，但我不会？”。 问自我这个问题让我发现我也会做得到。 那天晚上我去了我的卧室，打开我的电脑，然后我又开始学中文了。
我已经学习五年中文了，还没学完，其实感觉我就想刚刚开始。
路还很长，但我坚信我会成功的。
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned last year and the biggest one in my life is how the people around me greatly influence my life. Whether it be my mood, views, opinions, and life trajectory. The folks that we call friends and acquaintances will have a fundamental effect on you and theres no way around it.
You can’t choose your family, but you can choose your friends. So chose wisely before they become family.
How are we supposed to understand homosexuality when we don’t even have a full grasp on heterosexuality?
There’s a lot people who walk around with this fear and suspicion of homosexuality, as it’s some new thing that just creeped around the corner and needs more time to be analyzed before it can be accepted. I think these people need to put down there “God hates fags” signs and pick up a copy of Dr. Christopher Ryan’s bestselling book “Sex at dawn”.
You ever get the feeling that people aren't seeing you for what you are?

In this video Terence Mckenna talks about the importance of reclaiming your personal experience and gives a number of steps on how to do this. This is a great listen from an extraordinary character.
I often watch the mystery of nature with the sole purpose of trying to figure out what exactly drives it. Staring at a flock of birds for example never ceases to amaze me. How is it that hundreds of individual birds can fly in unison without an obvious leader? And I’m even more blown away when those flocks form complex formations that resemble clouds of rhythmic patterns.
Is it possible that everything we see in nature is driven by forces that can be seen and measured and others that simply cannot be seen?
A quick test I did with video copilot's Flight Kit and Element 3D. All explosions and fire are from Video Copilot, including the sound also. Video was shot on my Nikon D3200 DSLR.

Just messing around one day with Trapcode Form in After Effects CS6. This test didn't take too much time to do actually and isn't terribly complicated. I wanted to try this out in preparation for film ideas that I'm planning.

The Commercial Drive Parklet is one of a few projects selected as part of VIVA Vancouver’s 2013 Parklet Pilot Program. Unlike other projects led by large architecture and landscape architecture firms, this is the only one undertaken by active residents of the project neighbourhood.
